HIV/AIDS: Diagnosis and the Early Stages

HIV is easily spread to others in the early stages. This is often when people do not know that they have HIV. Early testing and diagnosis are important for many reasons. It is important to know how HIV is transmitted, to be able to recognize the symptoms of HIV, especially in the early stages, and to know how to prevent transmission. It is also important to know the rights of people living with HIV, along with your responsibilities as a care provider. The goal of this course is to educate non-licensed direct care staff on the diagnosis and early stages of HIV/AIDS.
